The Four Horsemen of Revelation 
These Four Spirits that patrol the Earth can now be seen! This prophecy warns of a shockingly violent Clash of Civilizations. They are the first Four Seals of the Seven Seals in Revelation. And they are loosed for these last days! Who are the Four Horsemen? Catholicism. Communism. Capitalism. Islam. It's in the Bible! Don't doubt it until you read this entire article! By Ken Raggio

Twice in the Bible, a significant prophecy is written concerning four horsemen: in Zechariah 6 and in Revelation 6. Here is the exact verbiage from Zechariah 6:1-8.
And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came
four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were
mountains of brass.
In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me,
These are the four spirits of the heavens,
which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
We do not have to wonder what these four horsemen represent,
because the verses tell us plainly. They are FOUR SPIRITS that traverse the earth. We will look at more detail in a moment. First, let's read the similar verses in the book of Revelation 6:1-8:
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
And I saw, and behold a white horse : and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse ; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. Who are the Four Horsemen? Let's identify them and define as much meaning as we can discover. The New American Standard Version of the Bible gives a very interesting translation of verse 7. they were eager to go to patrol the earth." And He said, "Go, patrol the earth." So they patrolled the earth. The Four Horsemen are four spirits that are striving to control the earth in the last days. These prevailing end-time spirits have historically been arch rivals both in philosophy and politic. I intend to show very clearly how THESE FOUR SPIRITS have patrolled, and as the four most powerful spirits on earth, even dominated the earth for most of modern times.

If you are old enough to remember the Cold War, you know that it was evidence of the enmity between Capitalism in the West and Communism in the Soviet Union.
The two biggest threats to the political ideals of either Capitalism or Communism are the two largest religions in the world - Catholicism and Islam. RED is easily recognizable as the color of Communism and Socialism. (i.e., Red China). WHITE is the color of the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. The pope's garment, pope-mobile and aircraft are all white. Students of Catholicism actually refer to him as the "White Pope," in contrast to the Superior General of the Jesuits, who is referred to as the "Black Pope." BLACK - George Bernard Shaw, (1856-1952), famous Irish playwright, political activist and Socialist was quoted in Time magazine as saying, "there are only two real flags in the world henceforth: the red flag of Democratic Socialism and the black flag of Capitalism." First, look at the evidence pertaining to Communism and Catholicism. In his day, Joseph Stalin attempted to annihilate Catholicism in Russia. There are clear historical animosities between atheist Communism and Catholicism. Fifty years ago, anyone in the Western free world would have assumed that the Capitalistic West would always have the sympathies and cooperation of the Roman Catholic Church, and that together Capitalism and Catholicism would bring down Communism.  Since
the dissolution of the USSR, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and
the so-called overthrow of
Communist strongholds in Eastern European nations, many have concluded
that Communism has
indeed suffered a fatal blow.Democratic reforms world-wide lead the casual observer to believe that civilization is moving toward a more Westernized way of life. The world media trumpets such "Democratic" causes as human rights, international peace-keeping efforts, removal of trade barriers, and religious ecumenism. But things are not as they seem. Old enemies are becoming new friends. Old friends are becoming new enemies. Right now, it is very important to take a new and careful examination of the changing relationships between Communism, Catholicism and Capitalism. The changes are not only profound, but also very disturbing. The Seattle Times, March 4, 1992 reported that Mikhail Gorbachev "paid tribute to Pope John Paul II for what he called the pontiff's decisive role in bringing about change in Europe. The former Soviet president, the first Kremlin chief to have met with a Pope, said he and the Polish-born John Paul share a ‘deep feeling of sympathy and understanding.’ ‘What has happened in eastern Europe in these recent years would not have been possible without the presence of this Pope, without the great role, also political, that he knew how to play on the world scene,’ Gorbachev wrote. During their first meeting at the Vatican in December 1989, Gorbachev pledged to permit full religious freedom in the Soviet Union, agreed to establish diplomatic ties with the Vatican and invited the Pope to Moscow. The two men met again at the Vatican the following year." It is difficult to understand at once how such a dramatic shift in policy of the atheistic socialists toward Roman Catholicism could be accomplished. After all, it was Karl Marx who originally declared that ‘religion is the opiate of the people.’ A quick surmisal reveals a mutual consent: "you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours."  In
exchange for freedoms
of religious expansionism in the atheist, Socialist states, the
Catholic Church essentially agreed never to denounce Socialism
as evil.
Malachi Martin, in his book, "The Keys of this Blood," chronicles the millennium "end-game" that is being played between the Pope's Catholicism, Gorbachev's Leninist Socialism, and the Capitalistic West. Strange Bedfellows: Communists and Catholics! The process began around the end of World War II. The Catholic Church had initially endorsed Adolf Hitler in Germany in order to fight back the Bolshevik Communist Revolution from Russia. Later, when Hitler became diabolical, Pope Pius XII would have withdrawn his endorsement except for his untimely death. Certain radical Catholics in Europe who had been pro-Communist for years used the people’s fear of Hitler to advance their cause. These "Christian Communists" became a driving force in the Catholic Church. They were the early proponents of modern "Liberation Theology" -- a Marxist revolutionary gospel that has already gained near universal acceptance in both religious and political circles. Official Policy Changes - Pope John XXIII turned the tides  As
early as April 1963, Pope John XXIII wrote a well-known document,
"Pacem in
Terris," in which he openly advocated a compromise with Communism. Relations between the Vatican and the Soviet Union also improved beyond recognition. Whereas the previous Pope, John XXII had envisioned a defeated Russia, John XXIII saw it as a new front for Catholic evangelism with the full consent of Moscow. Ultimately, Communist Commissars and Catholic Cardinals learned that each could further their own cause by allowing the other to operate freely. If the Communists would let the people attend church, the Catholic Church would defend, or at least no longer decry the Communist government. As a result, for the past forty years, Catholicism has had a significant resurgence in Communist lands. Catholics believe "Mary" corrected the ‘errors’ of Communism  Now that
Catholics in those countries are enjoying new liberties, another
fascinating element can
be observed. The 1990s ‘collapse’ of Russian Communism gave many adherents of Roman Catholicism a staunch case of ‘Fatima fever.’ Multitudes of Catholic pilgrims have swarmed into Fatima, Portugal, where in 1917 three children claimed to have seen the Virgin Mary, "Our Lady of Fatima." At Fatima, Mary allegedly told them that Russia would spread ‘errors’ throughout the world but would eventually be converted to Roman Catholicism. Devotees to the ‘Queen of Heaven’ believed that Gorbachev’s ‘Perestroika’ was the answer to their decades of praying the rosary for Russia’s ‘conversion.’ Pope John Paul II visited Fatima one year after the assassination attempt on him to ask Mary’s ‘help’ for the ‘precarious and unstable’ situation in Eastern Europe. He also thanked her for saving him when an alleged KGB assassin’s bullet cut him down in 1981 on the May 13 anniversary of the children’s vision. He recalled that at the time of the attack: ‘I felt your saving presence beside me.’ More recently the Pope visited Poland and spoke to a crowd of an estimated one million youth who had gathered at Jasna Gora. With the Black Madonna icon as a backdrop, he revealed his goal for the new Europe by asking that the young people help him ‘return Europe to its Christian roots.’ Apparitions of the "Virgin Mary" says fire from heaven will fall. Will the Pope play along? Mariology, as it is called in the Roman Catholic Church, is the belief in and veneration of the Virgin Mary, with prayers being said to her and prophecies being received from her. At the heart of everything being promoted from the Vatican is the belief that the Spirit of Mary, ‘mother of God,’ is guiding these monumental developments.  In a book called,
‘The Thunder of Justice’ written by Ted and Maureen
Flynn, and forwarded by
the prominent Vatican insider Malachi Martin, Mary predicts profound
changes on the world
scene imminently.‘Our Lady’ is quoted as saying prophetically (in the very opening chapter), "A chastisement worse than the flood is about to come upon this poor and perverted humanity. FIRE will descend from Heaven and this will be a sign that the justice of God has as of now fixed the hour of His great manifestation." These words recall Revelation 13:13-14, which refers to the "False Prophet" of the apocalypse: "and he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh FIRE come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast..." First, the Fire, then the Antichrist? The surrounding verses in Revelation describe the most powerful religious leader in the world performing a miracle that is presently being predicted by the "Blessed Virgin" herself! The Pope prays daily to the "Blessed Virgin," and he is the principal defender of her purported role in reconciling the world to God. He has said that Jesus Christ is the MEDIATOR between God and Mary! Might he be the one who also fulfills the prophecy of verse 15, by "giving life to the image of the beast"? Might the Pope actually introduce an image that will ultimately represent everything opposite to what Jesus Christ stands for - a truly antichrist image - an image that defies the TRUE "image of the invisible God" - Jesus Christ? The "image" of the antichrist would logically be the image presented to the world by this false prophet that will deceive them and entice them AWAY from a true belief in Jesus Christ. The Pope has ALREADY introduced that image, and you can read about it in my companion article, THE IMAGE TO THE BEAST. Communism and Catholicism devour Capitalism. One final note pertains to the THIRD power -- Capitalism. As the alliance between the Vatican and Socialism strengthens profoundly, Capitalism becomes the target of both their endeavors. Predictably, the socialistic agendas of the United Nations and the Vatican are rapidly swallowing up Washington DC. It is increasingly apparent that the United Nations will soon succeed in overpowering the United States and its sovereignty, thereby fulfilling Nikita Khrushchev’s infamous threat to the US, as he pounded his desk with his shoe in the General Assembly, "We will bury you!"  Is
it any surprise then that
the Pope has become sympathetic to the likes of
Fidel Castro while never failing to badger the US for the "disparity
between the rich
and poor" (classic socialistic jargon)?Capitalism is doomed to be swallowed up in democratic socialism. Will we be watching the "beast and false prophet" scenario of Revelation developing before our very eyes in the days ahead? If the Pope introduces a world leader who proposes to solve the Middle East crisis, take heed! That is a perfect scenario from Revelation 13. We would do well to keep one eye on the Vatican, and the other on the Eastern sky! For a tantalizing clue as to how it may unfold, I suggest that you keep an eye on the relationship between Pope Benedict XVI and the European Union. As I write this, Tony Blair, a blue-blooded Socialist, has just resigned as Prime Minister of Great Britain, has met with the Pope and announced his formal conversion to Roman Catholicism, and has been given the role of chief Middle East negotiator for the United Nations "Quartet." Blair may soon be seen in a prominent role in the EU as well. This is exactly the kind of scenario that the scripture describes: a European leader, endorsed by the Pope, making deals with Israel. That is EXACTLY the kind of situation that will inaugurate the final seven years of prophecy leading up to Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem to establish his 1000-year kingdom on earth. It is called the "Confirmation of the Covenant" - a seven-year plan for peace that Israel will sign on to with the "Beast" government of Antichrist, gleefully endorsed by the Pope. ONE MORE IMPORTANT POINT - A GREEN HORSE. Green?? THE FOURTH HORSE - The "Pale" Horse NOW, I want to address one more very important component of this topic - the subject of the FOURTH HORSE - the Pale Horse. This one is too amazing to believe on first glance, but take my word for it; you WILL see the evidence shortly! The translators of the original King James Version of the Bible (1611) gave us the word PALE for the fourth horse. Let's look at how they came up with that. In the GREEK text, the word "chloros" is present. "Chloros" means GREEN. It is the same as seen in the world chlorophyll, which is the green color of plants. Obviously, the translators could not imagine a green horse, so provided the word "pale" instead. The Old Testament reference to the fourth horse in the KJV said, "grizzled and bay." However, neither of those words appear in the ancient Hebrew. The best interpretation is "strong-colored" horse. Therefore, when we look at the fourth horse in both Zechariah and Revelation, we see a "strong-colored" - "green" horse. The universally identifiable color of Islam is green. Look at virtually ANYTHING that has to do with Islam, and you will see GREEN.  So, Islam is the green horse
of death seen in Revelation 6:8. The prophecy
there foretells Islam’s patrolling fully one-fourth of the
earth, now 1.5 billion people. Due to Islam’s growth and subsequent threats in even Western nations such as England, France, and Spain, anti-Americanism is flourishing in many new places. Islam is a driving force in more and more nations around the world, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Kashmir, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, all the Eastern Block nations of Europe, Russia, and many others. Radical extremism around the globe, including cells in America pose increasing threats to Israel and America's futures. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, fueled by his extremist spiritual adviser Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has repeatedly sworn Iran and Islam to the death and destruction of both Israel and the United States. He publicly pledged to "wipe Israel off the map." In 2001 Khamenei said of Israel, "this cancerous tumor of a state should be removed from the region." In a September 2006 article, WorldNetDaily.com reported an influential Islamic preacher in Gaza, Sheik Abu Saqer declared, "The day will come when the GREEN FLAG OF MUHAMMED will be raised upon the Vatican and all around the world." DEATH is the trademark of the GREEN HORSE. Can anyone question the accuracy of that prophecy when Islam today is associated around the world with the nearly 3000 deaths in the World Trade Center attack of 9-11-01, and over 8,000 subsequent Muslim bombings around the world since that time? Where is this so-called "religion of peace"?? Muslim clerics cynically boast that the West loves life, but that Islam loves death. They teach their followers that the most glorious path to paradise is martyrdom - death by killing others while performing the act of suicide. Before I close, in the context of what has just been said, I want to speculate that as Islam gains momentum around the world, and as the West, particularly the U.S. liberal establishment and Democrat-controlled Congress turns in fear and runs from Islamic aggression, Islam will finally gain the first stages of global dominion immediately before Jesus Christ returns. Here is why I say that: In the first half of Daniel's 70th week, (in the first 3.5 of the last 7 years before Armageddon) the Holy Roman Empire, also known as the European Union, backed by the Roman Catholic Church, will enjoy a short-termed renaissance, and global supremacy. In the middle of that seven years, Antichrist will impose the Mark of the Beast with Roman Catholic Church endorsement. But as Islam quickly takes over London, Madrid and other population centers of Europe, Islam is likely to challenge the Roman Catholic Church's influence on politics. The Bible says that the Beast will finally HATE THE WHORE and destroy it. I predict that Islam will, at the end of the seven years, finally rise up to take control of Europe and simultaneously destroy the Roman Catholic Church. I may be wrong, but right now, that sounds extremely likely. THESE ARE THE FOUR HORSEMEN of the apocalypse. The FOUR HORSEMEN are also the FIRST FOUR SEALS of the Seven Seals of Revelation 5. SEAL ONE - White horse - Catholic Church had a bow and a crown (the pope wears a tiara - triple crown) conquering globally. (Read the history of the RCC and the Crusades.) SEAL TWO - Red horse - Communism -took peace from earth, killing with a great sword. Red Communism killed more people in the twentieth century than any other power at any time in history. Lenin, Stalin and Mao killed more than 50 MILLION PEOPLE. SEAL THREE - Black horse - Capitalism - (a pair of balances and a commodities report - measure of wheat for a penny, barley, wine and oil at a price.) SEAL FOUR - GREEN HORSE - Islam - DEATH and HELL FOLLOWED. Need I say more? (See these two articles for in-depth explanations: ISLAM and GREEN HORSE.) SEAL FIVE is a pronouncement concerning those who must be martyred during the Great Tribulation. SEAL SIX is the earthquake and other natural phenomenon that accompany the Battle of Armageddon. SEAL SEVEN is the half-hour of silence in heaven at its conclusion. Folks, we are getting very close to the complete fulfillment of all these prophecies.
